Information on this website
You can read the public pages without creating an account or submitting a website form. The public site does not ask for names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment-card details.
Donation checkout
When you choose to donate, the website sends the selected donation amount to Hope of Light’s server so it can create a secure Stripe Checkout session. You are then redirected to Stripe’s hosted checkout page, where payment credentials are sent directly to Stripe without passing through Hope of Light’s server.
Stripe may return transaction information needed to confirm, record, and acknowledge the donation, such as the payment status, amount, currency, donor name, or donor email. Hope of Light does not receive complete payment-card numbers through this website.
How information is used
Information received in connection with a donation is used to process and record the gift, respond to questions, maintain financial records, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal or accounting responsibilities.
Hope of Light does not sell personal information.
If you contact hello@hopeoflifeinternational.org, the foundation receives the email address, message, and any information you choose to include. Do not send payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information by email.
Service providers
Stripe processes donation checkout. Cloudflare provides website hosting, network delivery, security, and operational logging. Those providers handle information under their own policies and terms.
Retention and security
Hope of Light retains donation and correspondence records as reasonably needed for operational, accounting, security, and legal purposes. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
